The Institute For Wealth In Networking program, alternatively known as the Iwin123 program claims to provide the quickest, simplest & most powerful way for you to earn money online… Even if you’ve never made a penny online before.
But I think you’ll agree with me when I say that that’s a pretty bold claim to make, so what’s the deal here – is it actually legit or is The Institute For Wealth In Networking a scam that’ll just end up leaving you high & dry?
Thankfully if you’ve been thinking about joining this program then you’ve landed in exactly the right place to find out because I’ve done the digging & in this review I’m going to be uncovering everything you need to know, including how it all works & whether or not you can really make money with it… 🙂
(out of everything I've tried this is my #1 recommendation for making money)
What Is The Institute For Wealth In Networking?
In short, The Institute For Wealth In Networking (which I’m going to refer to as IWIN from now on) is simply yet another home-based business opportunity and like all the others this one also claims that it’s clearly the greatest.
According to their own website they describe themselves as a “nationwide technology service company” & they claim to have been a leader in their field for over 10 years. I scoped them out & surprisingly they have actually been around for 10 years as they claim, but the part about being a “leader in the field”… Well that’s not entirely true.
Essentially despite their snazzy wording, IWIN just teaches people how to market things online, which makes them an online marketing training company as far as I’m concerned… It’s funny that although they’ve been around for so long & claim to be an industry leader I’ve only just come across them now & I’ve been in the online marketing game myself for several years.
That just says to me that their marketing tactics can’t be all that great!
They do however repeatedly claim though that they are entirely different from all other business opportunities & that they have truly developed their platform with YOU in mind to help you finally find success for real… But is it true?
Let’s take a look…
How Does The Institute For Wealth In Networking Work?
Honestly after looking into the IWIN program I really couldn’t see anything revolutionary at all. The program to me just looks like an outdated high-ticket network marketing opportunity, similar to the likes of MOBE or Digital Altitude (which are more recent companies).
The concept of the program is that you pay money to sign up to IWIN, you learn how to promote IWIN online & then you earn money by getting other people to pay to join the program just like you did.
It’s safe to say that it’s a business model I’m not really a fan of – in fact it’s something I generally tend to avoid, especially when these same companies employ “multiple levels of commission”.
Yes that’s right, despite the IWIN program claiming that it’s absolutely not a multi-level marketing company it only takes one quick look at their compensation plan to figure out that it is… And the fact that they’re trying to hide that makes me feel a little uneasy about the company as a whole.
You see the reason I tend to these multi-level marketing companies (like many others) is because there’s only a very fine line between them being classed as a pyramid scheme or a Ponzi scheme.
That fine line is the products they have on offer…
Basically if people are buying into the opportunity primarily for the value of the products then that’s fine, but if the majority of the people buying into it are buying in purely for the money-making opportunity then yeah… Pyramid scheme at work!
Now I’m not going to come out & call The Institute For Wealth In Networking a pyramid scheme, but I will say that in my opinion it really does seem like they’re pushing the whole money-making thing over everything else…
In fact it’s actually pretty difficult to find information on their products via their website… Not a great sign.
You’re probably now wondering what the products actually are so let’s take a look…
What Are The Products?
The primary product sold via the Institute For Wealth In Networking is allegedly coaching, but this isn’t exceptionally good news because the company I mentioned I felt was similar earlier in this review (Digital Altitude) recently got shut down by the FTC for it’s “coaching” style business model.
They claimed that the so-called “phone coaching” wasn’t really coaching – instead it was more of a sales pitch designed to get you to upgrade to the higher packages of the program since this is how the person who had referred the member was making money.
And since the members inside of the IWIN program are making money in the exact same way (by referring people & getting them to spend) I wouldn’t be surprised if their coaching call was also a mere sales-pitch designed to get new recruits to upgrade… Obviously that’s just speculation but in my opinion it looks quite likely.
Anyway, onto the additional levels, these are as follows:
- IWIN L250 Bronze
- IWIN L500 Bronze
- IWIN L1000 Gold
- IWIN L2000 Platinum
Sadly the cost of each level isn’t provided against any of these “products” & another bad sign is that there is no option for you to purchase them directly without becoming a member of the “opportunity”.
(this is 100% free training)
From their names though I would assume the prices follow suit, as in the L250 package being $250, the L500 being $500 & so on… (edit: I was later able to find out that this does indeed hold true)
All of the products consist of the same thing – eBooks & videos covering the topics of mindset training & online marketing training. Each higher level simply comes with more training, and includes the content found in the lower levels before it.
So as an example if you bought the L2000 Platinum package you would get the L2000 Platinum content plus the L250, L500, L1000 as well… BUT, you have to purchase the products in a sequential order.
This means you cannot just buy the L2000 Platinum package & have done with it, instead if you want this package you must buy the L250, L500 & L1000 before it. Pretty crazy, but yeah that’s how it works.
This means that in total the products will cost you $7,500 and what I will say is that for the price these products don’t look overly exciting.
There are a few problems with them as far as I’m concerned… Firstly there’s the fact that they all seem outdated, and secondly there’s the fact that I’ve seen several of these “products” being given away as freebies from other online marketers.
Ultimately the value here is questionable, and it’s likely (again in my opinion only) that these products are merely being provided as a cover-up for the real underlying exchange of money that’s going on here.
It’s also worth pointing out that in order to make money by promoting IWIN you must personally own the products first – this is because you can only earn commissions on the levels you’ve personally purchased.
This is a typical money-squeezing tactic… You don’t really want the products but you end up pressured into buying them because you think that without them you’ll be missing out on potential commissions.
It’s exactly the same way MOBE works & that’s why I chose not to recommend it in my review.
Can You Make Money With The IWIN Program?
The truth is that you can potentially make money with this program but it’s certainly not going to happen quickly & easily like they make out & overall as far as I’m concerned it’s unlikely that you actually will, not without a LOT of work anyway.
And don’t take that the wrong way – I’m not blaming you personally for the inability to make money, I’m blaming the IWIN program. You see as I mentioned to make money with this program you have to sell it onto other people & the problem here is that their sales pitch is extremely poor.
This means that unless you are getting on the phone to people or talking to them in some way or another you are going to find it very difficult to get them to actually take out their credit card & sign up.
Essentially that’s not what you want from an online business – the whole idea of working online is using automation, you want a website that converts on it’s own & works for you… You don’t want to be wasting your time calling people up & trying to convince them to buy something.
On top of that I’m not going to lie, the products suck. People are not going to buy into this program because they think the products are great, you’re going to have to push them into it & do you really want to be making people fork out money for nothing just so that you can earn yourself a commission?
There are many legitimate ways you can make money online. You don’t need to end up messing around pressuring people into buying something that they don’t really want or joining an opportunity that they aren’t really interested in.
My Verdict – Is The Institute For Wealth In Networking a Scam?
Well it would be wrong of me to call it a flat out scam since there is the potential to actually make money with it but in my opinion it’s not a good business model & it’s certainly not a company I would recommend.
I think despite offering “products” it’s very easy to see that the whole concept of the IWIN program is for you to sign up, spend as much money as possible & then promote the program onto others getting them to do exactly the same.
The other issue with all this is that because of the way their compensation plan works it means that if you actually want to follow it through you will have to spend around $7,500 to get the full potential from the program… If you don’t you’ll be missing out on money.
Maybe you enjoy throwing money away but in my opinion that’s an awful lot of cash to be throwing into something that has no guarantee of providing you with any return at all. It’s also a lot of cash to be spending just to get started online, especially when there are programs like Wealthy Affiliate around through which you can actually get started for free.
But yeah, overall my verdict is that this is not a good program & it is certainly not one I would recommend you join. The start up costs are high & the likelihood of you making money is low…
Anyway, if you happen to have any further questions or comments feel free to leave them below but hopefully this review provided you with the insight that you were looking for & helped you make the decision as to whether or not you really wanted to join. 🙂
