Welcome to my review of the brand new system Traffic Token.
This is something that’s been getting pushed into my email inbox quite a lot lately from a lot of reputable marketers that I follow, so I figured I just had to go ahead & check it out to see what it’s all about.
So if you’ve come across it too & are looking to find out if it’s a legit opportunity or just another scam then stick around because I’m going to be revealing everything in this in-depth review.
What exactly is Traffic Token?
I’m not going to lie, when I seen the emails landing in my inbox about Traffic Token my first thought was “oh, here we go again…”, but after checking out the website & reading into it first hand I was pretty impressed by the idea.
So basically Traffic Token is a new system that’s been launched by a guy named Bill McRea. Bill is somebody that’s been around in the internet marketing industry for several years and he has had quite a deal of success.
One of the things Bill is better known for is his Solo Ads. For a while now he’s been a provider of traffic, and the quality of his traffic is said to be fairly high.
Now I personally can’t vouch for the quality of Bill’s traffic because I’ve never ordered any from him myself – but I have seen quite a few reputable people giving him positive feedback and that’s always one of the first things I look for when searching for a new provider.
So what Bill has basically done with Traffic Token is created a system whereby people can get consistent traffic, but at the same time he has attached an opportunity onto the back of it (and a fairly lucrative one at that) so that his members can not only generate traffic, but they can also earn commissions at the same time.
…and hence the name Traffic Token, the traffic provided by the system is all based around “tokens”.
Why am I interested in it?
There’s a couple of reasons why this system caught my attention, and I’ll expand on those just now.
Firstly this system provides something useful – which is traffic.
Every person looking to make money online will know that traffic is the absolute lifeblood of their business.
So with Traffic Token instead of trying to sell something, you’re promoting something that people already want… Meaning higher conversions and more commissions.
However that is providing the traffic offered by Traffic Token is high quality – I personally haven’t ran traffic from it yet so I can’t confirm the quality, but that’s basically going to be the make or break of this system. If the quality of traffic is high (which going off Bill’s record, it should be) then it will be fantastic – but if it it isn’t… then it’s not so good, and I probably wouldn’t want to be involved.
The second thing that caught my eye with this system is the compensation plan – 3 tiers of commissions ranging all the way up to 80% (more on that below).
So this system definitely has potential – but as mentioned above it all solely depends on the quality of the traffic being provided. The homepage claims an opt-in rate of 25-48%, which if it holds true would be pretty sufficient to make this a worthwhile & lucrative system.
How does the token system work?
Generally traffic providers sell you traffic at a fixed fee for a set number of clicks, opt-ins or sales… Traffic Token is different, and at a glance it can be quite confusing so let me quickly run through it now & hopefully simplify it for you.
At Traffic Token instead of buying a set number of clicks, you buy a tokens, and each token allows you to send traffic to 1 URL.
So if you want to promote 1 website you could do that with just the 1 token, but if you wanted to promote 10 then you would need 10 tokens etc…
And basically what then happens is each token gets a share of the total traffic. If you take a look at the homepage you can see the statistics where it says the average daily traffic for each token is 12 clicks per day.
So 1 token will cost you $47 per month, and that will get you roughly 360 clicks per month which in all fairness isn’t bad value for money at all. FYI that’s just a quick calculation I’ve ran myself, if you want the actual Traffic Token stats you can see them on the homepage as they are changing all the time as new members join and more traffic is ran.
But where does the traffic come from?
Well what’s happening is Bill is using his Solo Ads and buying bulk traffic to send directly to Traffic Token, and then the Traffic Token system is dividing it out to all the members. The first thing I thought when I discovered this is that it could get saturated pretty quickly, but in a video I watched that Bill put together he mentioned that as he got more members he would continue to buy more traffic to prevent that happening.
My only concern is that the more traffic that’s purchased, the lower quality it becomes… But that’s just an assumption, maybe Bill has thought of something to cover that.
What’s the compensation plan look like?
As I mentioned when I first started this review, Traffic Token comes with a compensation plan attached to it which allows you to earn commissions by reselling the traffic. It also allows you to earn commissions of your downline when they resell the traffic too, meaning it has the potential to be very lucrative.
So here’s a rundown…
When you refer somebody to Traffic Token and they purchase traffic you’ll earn 80% commissions for that first month – the full 80% will come directly from that person’s purchase… So if they spend $47, you earn $37.60 etc…
Each month after that, as long as they keep their tokens active, you’ll earn 50% commissions on all recurring payments over 3 tiers (not 50% per person).
The 50% commission is made up of;
- 30% commissions from your Tier 1 members (those who you directly referred).
- 15% commissions from your Tier 2 members (the people who were referred by the people you directly referred).
- 5% commissions from your Tier 3 members (the people who were referred by the people who were referred by the people you directly referred – LOL).
Still, hopefully you can see how it can quickly become lucrative as you build up inside the system and the image below probably explains things a little better.
So what are my thoughts on this system?
I definitely like the idea behind this system a lot, and it certainly has the potential to very lucrative, however there are 2 things I am concerned about…
Firstly, the quality of traffic provided. This is literally the whole make or break of this system
Secondly, is the saturation factor. As this system gains more and more members, it means Bill needs to drive more and more traffic – can he maintain the same level of quality traffic, or would it end up becoming saturated?
But the only way for me to find out the answers to these two points is to try it out – so that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I’m going to personally get involved myself, run the traffic & see how it goes.
As soon as I get my results I’ll come back to this post & update it to let you guys know how it went.
One thing I won’t be doing thought is promoting the opportunity just yet until I get the data back on my traffic – I like to make sure that everything I promote is done with integrity, the last thing I would want to do is promoting it to somebody for them to spend a fortune and get burned by the traffic (not that I’m saying that’s what going to happen, but you know what I mean).
So if you’re interested in this system – watch this post closely for when I update it with my results.
I’m pretty excited because if it does work out then this would make a very nice additional stream of income for not just myself, but pretty much every marketer out there.
Anyway peace out for now guys, hope you enjoyed the review thus far & thanks for checking it out!
Oh and P.S. if you’ve already tried Traffic Token, please do share your experiences in the comments below – always love to hear from guys.
